Faculty Google Flow Training
SCA's New Faculty AV Club
Dear SCA Faculty:
You are invited to join a small working group to explore genAI and filmmaking.
Participants will have access to a free version of Google Flow. We'll make still images and short videos, read some essays, view artworks, and discuss the very justifiable concerns we have about genAI as it currently relates to filmmaking. After experimenting with Flow, we will offer brief feedback to the Google team about our experience.
Our goal is to understand how these tools are being presented to our students, build our critical vocabulary, and learn together.
Dates: Fridays, November 6, 13, 20 and December 4, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., in person. Most sessions take place in SCI 207.
(Except for 11/13 which will be in SCI 209)
If you'd like to attend, please fill out this form:
Since the time is drawing near, we wanted to bring this to your attention, so you can mark your calendar!
A huge thank you to Holly Willis for leading the charge to make this possible.
