The SCA Faculty Council is the central body for hearing and acting on the concerns of the SCA Faculty, as well as overseeing, implementing, and expanding shared governance processes, transparency, and equity at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

In addition to representing SCA Faculty concerns to the administration of the School through monthly meetings with the Dean and Vice Deans, the Faculty Council manages the processing of leaves and promotions for RTPC faculty and the election of representatives for bodies such as the USC Academic Senate.

The Faculty Council may also take up appropriate issues related to curriculum, staff, faculty, diversity, equity, administrative units and School leadership as they arise.

The council seeks maximum transparency in its processes.

In short, we are here to help! If you have any issues that you would like brought up in an upcoming Faculty Council meeting, or if you would like to attend a meeting yourself, please get in touch with your Divisional Representative or drop us a line at facultycouncil@cinema.usc.edu.
