Frank Price’s impact on the success of the School of Cinematic Arts is profound and immeasurable.  His loss is deeply felt by everyone here, and by the hundreds of USC alumni who knew and loved him. Just over 30 years ago I became Dean of the School and on the advice of Ray Stark reached out to Frank for help in forming a board. In no time at all Frank gathered the group of advisors that would become our first Board of Councilors, then chaired it by example until 2021, always picking up the phone on the many times I called him for advice. His attention, care and constant focus on creating opportunities for everyone whose talent he admired is his legacy. There is no doubt that he loved the School of Cinematic Arts, and we loved him. We will miss him dearly.
