INTERNATIONAL STUDENT APPLICATION NOW CLOSED FOR SUMMER 2013
Have you ever wondered how the Oscar winning screenwriters create their masterpieces, or stared at the daunting blank page, and wondered how to begin? Look no further. All screenplays, no matter which genre, style, or subject, have one thing in common- mechanics. Learn the mechanics and fundamentals of screen writing with our introductory course to the world of screenplays, Beginning Screenwriting. Students attending this course will write short scripts, 5 to 15 pages in length, and have them reviewed, work shopped, and critiqued by both peers and USC Writing Faculty. Students leaving this course will be armed with the fundamentals of screenwriting, and prepared to make their first attempts at feature screenplays.
