Join artist and author Pablo Leon to screen his award-winning animated short Remember Us and lead a discussion on the role of art in preserving historical memory.

Remember Us tells the stories of three people who lived through the Salvadoran Civil War, seen through the eyes of a journalist. Using documentary-style animation and incorporating elements of the Nahuat language and culture, the film explores loss, violence, and resilience across three generations while highlighting struggles for justice and cultural preservation. The screening will be followed by a Q&A.
