Alumnus Lee Unkrich was awarded the 2011 Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature for Toy Story 3 on January 16th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Unkrich directed the film and accepted the award on behalf of everyone at Pixar.

The award was presented by pop-star Justin Bieber and actress Hailee Steinfeld who Unkrich joked, “were you two even born when the first ‘Toy Story’ came out?”

This is Unkrich’s first Golden Globe. He has won the Annie Award twice for directing.
