SCA Student Films Screening at Newport Beach Film Festival
By Valerie Turpin
Student films originating from the USC School of Cinematic Arts have a longstanding level of excellence and intrigue. Nine of these student films are are heading to coast to demonstrate their talent at the Newport Beach Film Festival as part of the group's collegiate showcase.

Nine SCA student films were chosen to represent SCA at the Festival, with genres ranging from dark comedy to lighthearted animation. The films represent a wide variety of the talent and sensibilities of SCA student films.
Although the Festival has been running for several days, SCA student films are slated for viewing tonight, April 30th, beginning at 6:00 PM. The screenings will be shown at Sage Hill School, and tickets may be purchased online or with cash on site. Students and friends of SCA are encouraged to attend tonight’s screenings and to support the work of SCA’s talented filmmakers.
