Second year MFA screenwriter David Murray’s play “Land O’Plenty: My Journey as the Only Boy in an All-Girls School” was recently published by Playscripts.

David’s play follows Ariel Carvell, a home-schooled student excited for his first day of actual high school, only to learn he mistakenly enrolled as the only boy in an all-girls school.

Playscripts, an independent publisher of plays and musicals established in 1998, initially read another of David’s plays “Robots Vs. Fake Robots” and asked him to write a play for young audiences. So David sat down over the summer and penned a play during downtime while interning for Gary Sanchez Productions.
