Consultancies with international educational institutions, government agencies and companies are frequently initiated through initial contact with the SCA International group, to discuss their interests or programs and the range of services we provide to determine if there is a potential match for both parties.
Before working with external organizations, SCA will research their background, leadership, business credibility, and international reputation. Once these areas are cleared, SCA will engage in specific discussions on the goals, specific activities, requested consulting services as well as SCA's role and responsibilities, costs and fees. When all points are mutually agreed to, an agreement is negotiate, prepared, approved and then signed by SCA, USC and the international organization.
PAST CONSULTANCIES OF NOTE
The first SCA consulting program began in 2005 with Vietnam through the Ford Foundation, and was quickly followed by a multiyear agreement with Jordan and their new Royal Film Commission that included the development of training workshops for Jordanian filmmakers held at USC and in Amman, Jordan. The program's success led to SCA launching, in partnership with the Jordanian government, the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts, the first accredited MFA Production program in the MENA region.
More recent and current consultancies include developing the cinematic arts curriculum for Saudi Arabia's NEOM University; Tencent in Shenzhen, China to train their video game developers and producers; partnering with Netflix Grow Creative for a series of in-person and hybrid training workshops for professional creative producers, writers and directors in multiple global territories, including South Africa, India, Indonesia, Europe, Brazil, and the MENA region.
