Cody Zwieg has collaborated with top creatives in the horror genre, including Wes Craven, Sam Raimi, Jason Blum, Alexandre Aja and Greg Nicotero. Zwieg worked alongside writer-director Wes Craven on several films for a decade. He was a Co-Producer on the remake of Craven’s THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, an associate producer of THE HILLS HAVE EYES, and a Co-Producer on its sequel, THE HILLS HAVE EYES 2. Zwieg also served as the VP of Production and Development at Craven’s company Midnight Entertainment. He was most recently SVP, Production & Development at Gunpowder & Sky, where he was executive producer with Sam Raimi on 50 STATES OF FRIGHT, a horror anthology series, featuring performances from Rachel Brosnahan, Ming-Na Wen, Emily Hampshire, Rory Culkin, and Christina Ricci, in episodes from directors including Lee Cronin (EVIL DEAD RISE), Daniel Goldhaber (HOW TO BLOW UP A PIPELINE), Yoko Okumura (UNSEEN) and Scott Beck & Bryan Woods (A QUIET PLACE). At Gunpowder & Sky, Zwieg also produced the 2018 Sundance Film Festival Midnight selection SUMMER OF ’84, directed by RKSS, and 2018 Slamdance Festival Grand Jury and Audience Award winner ROCK STEADY ROW. In 2015, he collaborated with Jason Blum and Blumhouse Productions on the horror-thriller THE LAZARUS EFFECT starring Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass, Evan Peters and Donald Glover. Following his long tenure with Craven, Zwieg was an executive producer on APOLLO 18 for Dimension Films. Zwieg is a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He was born and raised in Watertown, SD.
