A versatile artist and craftsperson, John Ganem has worked at the highest level in many different forms and genres, from Music Videos and Feature Films to Episodic TV shows and Feature Documentaries.
Ganem edited iconic videos for artists such as Mazzy Star, Steve Earle, Pink Floyd, F-Mob, Jimmy Sommerville, Curtis Mayfield, and The Cranberries.
His pioneering editing work continued over the next two decades with the crime show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Jonathan Nolan’s Person of Interest, and the super-hero shows Gotham and Alphas.
Ganem edited the 1995 Oscar-nominated and Emmy-nominated Feature-length Documentary Hank Aaron: Chasing The Dream. He also edited the 2019 Glaad Award Nominated TV Movie Trapped: The Alex Cooper Story, and the 2009 Glaad Award Nominated TV Episode of CSI, Coup de Grace.
He is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the honorary society, American Cinema Editors.
