Currently Executive Vice President and Head of Business Affairs and Strategy at Sony Pictures Animation, Jeffrey Korchek is the former Vice President of Licensing Acquisitions, Content and Business Affairs at Mattel, Inc., and former Executive Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs for Universal Pictures. He was the Executive Producer of the documentary Mortified Nation and the subsequent series on Netflix. Previously, he was a literary agent at Broder Kurland Webb Uffner, a Senior Executive at USA Entertainment and an Executive Producer of the direct-to-video production Graduation. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, Korchek also holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School. He received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from UC Berkeley. Korchek has written for the Hollywood Reporter and the Huffington Post and is on the Board of Trustees of the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, New York. This will be his 26th year teaching in the Stark Program.
