"Professor O" got called that in the streets as a child because his love of learning has always resulted naturally in the sharing of knowledge.  "The problem of knowledge" in Philosophy -- a swirl of questions around ontology, epistemology and pedagogy -- drove him to study under Angela Davis, Jacob Needlemen, and Mohammad Kowsar at San Francisco State University, but he found a provisional answer to most of those questions in the arts, so soon transferred to Southern Oregon University in order to study Theatre Business Management under Paul Nicholson, Executive Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival at the time.  But then something else happened.  Games gave the ultimate answer.  Went to work for Trilobyte (The 7th Guest, The 11th Hour, Clandestiny).  The Voyager Company (A Night To Remember, Beethoven's 9th, Morton Subotnik's Making More Music, Sophie's World, Bettye Saar's Digital Griot) came next.  Later work included consulting assignments for Rockstar (Midnight Club), Bungie (HALO), and Zynga (Drop7).  Hands-on experience at every stage of production informed development of collaboration toolsuites, techniques and methodologies.  This turned into creating communications platforms for other sectors beyond the games business.  Government, Medicine, Finance, Commercial Packaged Goods, ...Education.  Always with Games at heart.
