Reine-Claire Dousarkissian

Dousarkissian graduated with a BA in Cinema from Columbia College, Hollywood, and began working as the Apprentice Editor on Mac the Knife. Additional credits include Second Assistant Editor on the TV adaptation of Stephen King's It; The Marrying Man; John Carpenter's Memoirs of an Invisible Man; Richard Donner's Assassins. From 1991-1995, Dousarkissian, whose professional credits are listed under Reine-Claire, worked as the First Assistant Editor on films directed/produced by Ivan Reitman, including Dave, Junior, Beethoven's 2nd, and Space Jam. She recently completed editing Director Gabrielle De Cuir’s film, The Delivery, starring Michael York and John Rubenstein.

For the past seven years, she has been teaching and mentoring grad and undergrad students on Avid Technology at SCA, and is an Avid Certified Instructor. Previously she served as an instructor at San Francisco State University from 1997 to 2000.

She specializes in editing aesthetics whether they are for narrative stories or documentaries. Dousarkissian has edited numerous documentaries, educational videos, and Internet segments.
