Geoffrey Patterson worked as a Production Sound Mixer in Hollywood in a career that spanned over 40 years. His work made him a two-time Academy Award Nominee, a nine-time Emmy Nominee, and a twelve-time nominee and three-time winner of the Cinema Audio Society Award for Best Sound.
He was the Production Sound Mixer on films that grossed over $3 Billion in box office including "Twister", "The Usual Suspects", "Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen", "The Wedding Planner", "Beasts of No Nation", "Friends With Benefits", "Along Came Polly", "Michael", "Payback", "Forces of Nature", "The X-Files Movie", "Seven Psychopaths", "Apt Pupil", and many more.
His acclaimed work as a Production Mixer in Television includes"Westworld", "Deadwood", "True Detective", "Perry Mason", "Bosch", "Snowfall", and many more.
Along the way he worked with renowned directors like, Cary Fukunaga, Michael Bay, Nora Ephron, Lawrence Kasden, Ron Howard, Katherine Bigelow, Walter Hill, Bryan Singer, Jan De Bont, Jon Favreau, Joel Schumacher, Ed Zwick, Gary Marshal, and many more.
He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Cinema Audio Society.
