Robert Luchow

Rob Luchow currently serves as Vice President, Drama Development, for CBSTV Studios. Throughout this time, Luchow has overseen development of CBS series NCIS: HAWAII, GOOD SAM, MAGNUM PI, THE CODE, FBI, SEAL TEAM, WISDOM OF THE CROWD, BULL, PURE GENIUS, AMERICAN GOTHIC, CODE BLACK, CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS, and ZOO as well as the CW series WALKER, NANCY DREW, REPUBLIC OF SARAH, CHARMED, IN THE DARK, DYNASTY, VALOR, and NO TOMORROW.  Additionally, Luchow developed the Netflix series INSATIABLE and the Peacock series DAN BROWN’S THE LOST SYMBOL.  Also Luchow had creative involvement in the Showtime series YOUR HONOR and the Apple+ series SWAGGER.    

Previously, Luchow had been Director, Live-Action Development, for Disney XD.  Luchow was responsible for the development of series KIRBY BUCKETS and MIGHTY MED along with several produced pilots. In addition, Luchow initiated the first original series collaboration of ESPN and Disney XD with the LeBron James' produced show BECOMING.

Prior to that, he served as Manager of TV development for The Mark Gordon Co. where he was involved in the development of over 40 drama and comedy pilot scripts, 3 produced pilots and the series REAPER for the CW, ARMY WIVES for Lifetime, and CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR for CBS.

His career began at the Broder-Webb-Chervin-Silberman Agency assisting TV literary agent Chris von Goetz before becoming assistant to the President of TV at The Mark Gordon Co., Deb Spera. 

Luchow received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University.  In 2017, Luchow received the honor of being selected as part of The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen list.  He has also taught several workshops on television pitching for The Writing Pad.
