Alexa Alemanni

Alexa Alemanni started her career as an actor. She’s most well known for playing Allison on the Emmy winning AMC Drama Mad Men for four seasons, for which she won a SAG Award.

As a writer in television, she staffed on TNT’s hit show The Librarians. On the feature side, she  wrote Something Blue, the sequel to the breakout hit Something Borrowed (Kate Hudson) for Black Label Media, as well as the book adaptation of Serpent’s Bite by Warren Adler (War of the Roses) with Grey Eagle Films. She's sold original features to UCP for USA Networks among others, and most recently to Level Forward & Prodigal Entertainment. She currently has projects in development with Team Downey, Right of Way Films, and Hello Sunshine..

As an independent producer she has produced ten shorts, and is in active development on two micro-budget features. Alexa has also taught screenwriting at the New York Film Academy, currently serves as the President of The Collaborative, a non-profit for actors, and runs her own writing studio: Bad Pitch Writers Lab.

She is a graduate of Vassar College with a degree in theater and history.
