Brad’s feature film debut as a director, The Locksmith (a.k.a. “Homewrecker”), won the Best of NEXT Award at the Sundance Film Festival. In addition to The Locksmith, Brad has written, produced, and directed two Sundance shorts as well as a short for the Showtime Network starring Christopher Walken.  Brad continues to work in the short form & in new media.  Brad’s second dramatic feature, Sex Guaranteed was released by The Orchard.  His third fiction feature, Hiding Places is being released by Indie Rights.

Previously, Brad taught filmmaking for over a decade in the graduate film program at Columbia University.  He’s also taught directing in the grad film program at NYU, at The New School and at Film Independent.  At Film Independent he has been a consistent mentor for both Project Involve and Global Media Makers.

Brad also enjoys directing theater.  Most recently producing, This is Our YouthOrphans, and The Molly Bloom Redux in Los Angeles. 

In production support, Brad works extensively as a directing coach in film and TV prepping directors on shows like Magnum PI, The Good Doctor, Servant, The Black List and many others. He teaches sold out workshops on directing actors in Los Angles, New York, and London for directingactors.com. 

Brad also works as an acting coach for film and TV.   Most recently on The Corps for Netflix and Sony Pictures Television.  

Brad began his career making multiple screen, gallery-based video and was formally director of exhibitions at White Cube gallery in London, UK.
