Jeremy Palmer is an Inglewood-based screenwriter who enjoys telling stories about outsiders courageously transcending barriers to accomplish the unthinkable. He received an MFA in Screenwriting from USC in 2017, after which he’s written 24 features, along with numerous shorts, webisodes, sketches, and pilots. His feature script Stumble Through was awarded the Jay Roach Endowed Scholarship from USC in 2016, while his biopic script The Valley of Dry Bones won the Sloan Screenwriting Grant in 2017 and the Tribeca Sloan Student Grand Jury Prize in 2018. He wrote the thriller Detained, which was released in theaters and VOD by Quiver Distribution in August of 2024 starring Abbie Cornish, Laz Alonzo, and Justin H. Min. He is currently the Screenwriter in Residence for Bankable Pictures.
