Jovan recently completed the Rideback TV Incubator, where he is currently developing a cable drama series with MRC Studios attached. His first writing credit was on CBS’ The Code.

Jovan is an alumnus of the CBS Writers Mentoring Program and holds an MFA in Screenwriting from USC. He is a military veteran and a Wisconsin native. Prior to pursuing screenwriting, Jovan received bachelor degrees in Urban Studies and Film Studies.

Jovan has placed in multiple writing contests, including the Austin Film Festival and Script Pipeline. He also served as a reader for NBC’s Writers on the Verge and screened over 1,000 short films for NBCUniversal’s Short Film Festival.
