Aaron Carew

Aaron Carew is a writer and executive producer who most recently wrapped four seasons on the CW’s Walker, serving as co-executive producer for the final two seasons and writing several episodes. Over the course of his career, Aaron has sold television dramas to CBS, Disney, and Paramount+, as well as a feature film to Orion/Amazon. He was nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award in the longform category for his contributions to Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story. His additional television credits include L.A.'s Finest (Spectrum), Power Book IV: Force (Starz), Taken (NBC), and Me(Apple), to name a few.

Before transitioning to film and television, Aaron served in the U.S. Army, completing two combat tours in Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant and received multiple medals for his service.

Aaron also serves on the advisory board of Team Rubicon, an organization that mobilizes veterans and first responders for disaster relief efforts around the world.

He is a proud member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA), the Producers Guild of America (PGA), and the Television Academy (Emmys).

In addition to his industry work, Aaron teaches at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts Graduate Division in Writing, as well as the Peter Stark Producing Program. As an alumnus of the prestigious film school himself, he is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of storytellers.
