Carolyn Manetti is an independent producer in Los Angeles currently developing projects for both film and television.
Carolyn was a studio executive at New Line Cinema and member of the creative team responsible for generating twelve to fifteen films a year including Boogie Nights, Austin Powers, American History X and Lord of the Rings.
She was executive producer on The Cell (Jennifer Lopez, Vince Vaughn), Bones (Snoop Dogg, Pam Grier) and Price of Glory (Jimmy Smits, Jon Seda). She also oversaw post production of About Schmidt (Jack Nicholson, Kathy Bates) and I Am Sam (Sean Penn, Michelle Pfeiffer) .
Additionally, Carolyn ran Maple Shade Films, producer Ed McDonnell's (Prisoners, Insomnia) company at Warner Bros. studios. While at Maple Shade she developed a variety of projects including an historical action epic, which is currently being written by Jonah Nolan (The Dark Knight, Person Of Interest).
She began her career at the William Morris Agency in the Motion Picture Literary Department.
Carolyn has a B.S. from Northwestern University.
