About Tripped Up
Aspiring chef Lizzy sets off with her three best friends in tow to compete in the prestigious Saucy Food Festival. What begins as a calculated career move quickly turns into a madcap misadventure full of food, fun and female bonding, where the girls learn that struggle can be the secret ingredient to success.
About the Guest
SHRUTI GANGULY (Director)
Shruti Ganguly is a prominent filmmaker and writer based in New York City and Oslo. She has an impressive portfolio, having directed and produced films such as "H." and "INITIALS SG," both premiering at major film festivals. Shruti recently directed "TRIPPED UP," featuring Leah Lewis, Ariel Winter, and Vanessa Williams, set for distribution by Decal and Universal Pictures.
In addition to her film work, Shruti has sold projects like "DEATHSPA" to Sony International and is currently writing "SECRET DAUGHTER" for Amazon Studios, starring Priyanka Chopra and Sienna Miller. She's also developing "PRIYA, AT 12," a coming-of-age comedy, with producers Nikki Silver and Meena Harris’ Phenomenal Media.
Apart from her filmmaking ventures, Shruti is an accomplished writer, contributing to publications like Vogue UK, Vogue India, and Harper’s Bazaar India. She co-founded the Resistance Revival Chorus, a collective using music and joy as an act of resistance, and serves on the boards of New York Women in Film and TV, Neutrogena Studios, and Commit2Change. Shruti holds a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and completed NYU's dual MFA (Tisch Grad Film) and MBA (Stern) program. Originally from India, she has a diverse international background, including time spent in Oman.

Check-In & Reservations
This screening is free of charge and open to the public. A reservation confirmation will automatically be sent to your e-mail account upon successfully making an RSVP through this website. Doors will open at 6:30 P.M.
All SCA screenings are OVERBOOKED to ensure seating capacity in the theater, therefore seating is not guaranteed based on RSVPs. The RSVP list will be checked in on a first-come, first-served basis until the theater is full. Once the theater has reached capacity, we will no longer be able to admit guests, regardless of RSVP status.
