About Polite Society
A merry mash up of sisterly affection, parental disappointment and bold action, Polite Society follows martial artist-in-training Ria Khan who believes she must save her older sister Lena from her impending marriage. After enlisting the help of her friends, Ria attempts to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood.
Rated PG-13. Running time: 103 minutes.

About the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA)
Founded in 2002, the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) has brought to Los Angeles audiences the most innovative independent films coming out of India, South Asia and its diasporas, in a vibrant program comprising features and shorts, including narrative, documentary and animated works. Starting in 2023, IFFLA will foray into year round programming, with the goal to collaborate with partners to bring original special programs, such as retrospectives and spotlights on exciting emerging auteurs, as well as lively industry events for professional development, mentorship, and networking. IFFLA aims to redouble on its two-decade reputation as a vital hub for fostering an important dialogue among the most original South Asian storytellers and the international film industry at large.

About the USC Asian Pacific Cinema Association (APCA)
The USC Asian Pacific Cinema Association aims to provide creative and professional opportunities for undergraduate and graduate level students interested in any aspect of the film industry. The organization hopes to foster a community of individuals passionate about Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) cinema through collaborative projects, professional networking events, and educational events. APCA focuses on highlighting APIDA cinema and culture to foster deeper, complex representations of APIDA culture.
About the Trojan Stunt Team
Trojan Stunt Team is a community of student actors and filmmakers among others who train together, collaborate on projects, and provide services to the greater USC and LA film community. The purpose of this organization is to promote the safe and educational exploration of stunt acting and the film industry as a whole at USC. We hope to supplement the efforts of the University in cultivating a strong film culture and well-rounded student actors and cinematographers.
About Outside the Box [Office]
Outside the Box [Office] is a weekly showcase for upcoming releases highlighting world cinema, documentary and independent film titles. The series draws from around the globe to present movies that may challenge, inspire or simply entertain.

Check-In & Reservations
This screening is free of charge and open to the public. A reservation confirmation will automatically be sent to your e-mail account upon successfully making an RSVP through this website. Doors will open at 6:30 P.M.
All SCA screenings are OVERBOOKED to ensure seating capacity in the theater, therefore seating is not guaranteed based on RSVPs. The RSVP list will be checked in on a first-come, first-served basis until the theater is full. Once the theater has reached capacity, we will no longer be able to admit guests, regardless of RSVP status.
