Mirror, Mirror Screening with Q&A

Artemis at USC and Downbeat Entertainment invite you and a guest to a screening of Mirror, Mirror - a 5-episode web series about four girls of varying backgrounds, identities, and beliefs conflicting with each other and their identities over the course of election day in their high school girls’ bathroom. Anngelica-Marie Eshesimua is a writer, producer, and director who currently studies the Business of Cinematic Arts with a minor in Comedy at the University of Southern California. Anngelica has honed her experience in entertainment with internships at Sonar Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and The Bold and the Beautiful while running the production company she co-founded, Downbeat Entertainment LLC. Anngelica aims to write and produce television content about the intricacies, humor, and connectivity that make up overlooked communities and relationships, and has done so with the first feature film she produced, Sunday Morning (2017), which has been featured in festivals such as the Awareness Fest, IndieFEST, the Miami Independent Film Festival. Her docu-series On Cultural Beauty has thousands of impressions on Facebook, and examines the intersections of beauty and culture through three different women. 

The series is produced by student organization Artemis at USC, an intersectional creative community that produces media to empower underrepresented voices at the University of Southern California. Artemis collaborated with Downbeat Entertainment LLC, an award-winning production company founded by USC students.
