Jeffrey Bryan is a play scholar, games and media literacy researcher, and digital arts teacher. His research focuses on the phenomenology of play, play in social environments, play and performance, the player narrative experience, and ludonarratology. He is a PhD Candidate and instructor at UCI and was a K-12 CTE digital arts teacher for a decade before transitioning to college teaching.
