David Su is a game developer, musician, engineer, sound designer, and researcher interested in creating new musical experiences through technology. He is currently the lead audio programmer at Brass Lion Entertainment, working on an unannounced action-RPG video game title. He is also one of the co-organizers of Game Audio LA. David's game credits include One Hand Clapping, NFL Endzone, Trolls Music Stars, and Evergreen Blues, as well as music technology work with Output, Sunhouse, and Amper Music.
His work has been featured in outlets such as NPR, Rolling Stone, and PC Gamer, as well as at festivals such as the Independent Games Festival, Indie MEGABOOTH at PAX East, and SXSW. He has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Korean Demilitarized Zone, and has spoken at conferences such as the Game Developers Conference, GameSoundCon, and the International Computer Music Conference. David recently contributed two chapters to the fourth volume of Game Audio Programming: Principles and Practices, published by CRC Press. He received his MS from the MIT Media Lab and his BA from Columbia University.
