Sam Jungheim, M.A.T.
Curriculum Coordinator
Sam Jungheim is the Curriculum Coordinator for SCA and works with all Divisions and programs. They have a longstanding interest in the arts and received a Bachelor in Fine Arts, Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) in 2015 and a Master of Arts in Teaching- Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Southern California (USC) Rossier School of Education in 2020. Sam previously worked and taught at the USC American Language Institute (ALI) and Office of International Services (OIS) where they aided non-native English speakers. Sam has spoken at several Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) conferences and co-authored a chapter in "TESOL Guide for Critical Praxis in Teaching, Inquiry, and Advocacy". Sam specializes in communicating with learners from diverse backgrounds and creating creative educational materials for online and on-ground classrooms. Sam enjoys working with the SCA staff and faculty to develop exciting new curriculum for the students at SCA.
