Rachel Watson serves on the SCA External Relations team as the Assistant Dean and Senior Director of Development where she focuses on Parent and Family Philanthropy and Student Support. Prior to this she helped manage the University’s Reunion Weekend and Giving program at the USC Alumni Association, worked to establish regional and entertainment-based fundraising for an east-coast college in the Southern California region, and worked for several other community and arts-based nonprofits. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run Los Angeles and is a Mulcahy Fellow for the American Youth Foundation. A lifelong writer, Rachel enjoys workshopping and collaborating with other screenwriters and novelists in her free time, in addition to reading avidly, hiking, cooking and welcoming friends and family to her home in Mid City.
