After graduating from Northwestern, Meredith moved to LA to pursue a career as a talent agent. Her seething jealousy of clients led her to finally pursue writing and was a writer's assistant which led to her first staffing job on the NBC show Champions. She has written for several other TV series and has features in development at Universal and Netflix among others. She most recently directed an episode of Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble's upcoming HBO Max ShowThe Sex Lives of College Girls. 

The 2021-2022 school year is Meredith's first at USC and as an adjunct professor. She's had a wonderful time so far getting to know the students and is happy to know that students beyond the pursuit of entertainment as a career take the class as well to learn more about it.
