Garth Twa

Garth Twa is an award-winning writer, director, and author. He has written for television--The Wright Verdicts (Dick Wolf), Good Witch (Hallmark)--written and directed a number of award-winning short films--Birds Die (Fargo Film Festival Best Narrative Comedy), Ext. Day (Toronto Independent Film Festival finalist, Vancouver Independent Film Festival finalist, Liberty Film Festival, Best American Short)--and his collection of short stories, Durable Beauty, was a Los Angeles Best Seller. His recent feature script, Ethan and Arlo, was in the Top Ten of the Final Draft Big Break contest, and he is currently in pre-production for filming in Spring, 2022.

Garth was Senior Lecturer in Digital Film Production at Ravensbourne University in London, Curriculum Team Leader in Media at Uxbridge College (UK), and he headed the Creative Writing Program at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach.

He holds a PhD in Writing from the University of Sussex (UK), an MFA from the Graduate Writing Program at Columbia, and a BA in Cinema Production from USC.
