A 25-year veteran of family entertainment, Paul Gerard is the Senior Vice President of Warner Brothers Entertainment overseeing the development of their animated feature film slate. Prior to Warner Brothers, Paul ran Allspark Animation for Hasbro Inc. and was the Director of Creative Affairs for DisneyToon Studios where he oversaw the Disney Planes and Disney Fairies franchises. Prior to Disney, Gerard was the director of development for Sony Pictures Animation where he managed the feature film adaptation of Judi Barrett’s classic children’s book, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and the direct-to-DVD release Open Season 2. Gerard also helped develop both of Sony’s earliest releases: Open Season and Surf’s Up as well as Hotel Transylvania. Before Sony Pictures, Paul spent four years at 20th Century Fox where he was involved with the development of such projects as X-Men 2, Alien vs. Predator, Charlie Chan and Big Momma’s House. A graduate of the University of Southern California’s Peter Stark Producing Program, Gerard produced the independent family feature Rites of Winter.
