Anne McIntyre Postman is an award-winning writer and director of film and television. She wrote the independently produced Mating Games (Trillion Entertainment), the social drama Gunplay (Social Breakdown Films), and wrote and co-directed the feature documentary American Rider starring Keanu Reeves, Joe Pesci and Peter Fonda and produced by former Universal Pictures President Thom Mount. She has also produced and written over 25 scripted and unscripted series, pilots and specials that have aired on NBC, CBS, HBO, MSNBC, Discovery, History, Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, Oxygen, Biography, WE and HGTV. Recently, she was a staff writer on My Crazy Ex on Lifetime Movie Network. She began her career working for producer Dino De Laurentiis in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Anne's prose writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times (2016), Newsday, the International Herald Tribune, Publisher’s Weekly, LA Parent, Medium and other print and online publications. She graduated from Yale with a B.A. in English, from Oxford with an M.A. in English, and from USC with an M.A. in Film Production. Her USC thesis film, Fighting Fish, won a Student Emmy for Comedy. She has been teaching screenwriting at USC since 2012.
