Chris Marcil has written for some of the most notable TV comedies of the past three decades, including Beavis and Butt-head,  NewsRadio, Frasier,  How I Met Your Mother, and What We Do In The Shadows.  "Collaboration," an episode of WWDITS written with his longtime writing partner Sam Johnson, was a comedy writing nominee at the 2020 Emmys.   He was co-showrunner of TV Land's Hot In Cleveland and co-wrote the pilot to the animated show Daria.  He has had his heart broken during the development process at every major network, plus Adult Swim. 

Chris was a senior editor at National Lampoon, and has contributed humor pieces to McSweeney's, The New Yorker, and the New York Times Op-Ed page.
