Yvette Amirian

Yvette M. Amirian is an Armenian-American film and television editor, with a successful career spanning two decades across scripted and documentary projects.

In 2011, Yvette and her WHALE WARS team earned an ACE Eddie Award nomination. In 2017, she co-edited John Singleton's Emmy-nominated documentary L.A. BURNING: THE RIOTS 25 YEARS LATER. In 2022, she edited a narrative feature for Robert Machoian, THE INTEGRITY OF JOSEPH CHAMBERS, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. In 2023, she cut a short film, IT TAKES A VILLAGE, which qualified for the Oscars at the L.A. Shorts International Film Festival. Her latest feature was a comedy for Amazon/MGM Studios — EX-MAS, directed by fellow USC alum Jonah Feingold — which is currently streaming. 

Yvette is a proud member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE), the Editor's Guild, and the TV Academy. She enjoys sharing her expertise as an adjunct faculty member at her alma mater, USC's School of Cinematic Arts, educating the next generation of filmmakers.
