Tiffany Gist is a seasoned artistic scholar and gifted storyteller both in front of and behind the camera. Although a native of St. Louis, MO, she has traveled the world serving the academic and professional creative communities as an educator, actor, director, writer, producer and acting coach everywhere from Russia to West Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Alabama State University, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Acting and a Graduate Certificate in African American Theatre from University of Louisville. As an established member of the English Speaking Union, Tiffany was selected to serve as the United States Delegate Shakespearean Scholar for the International Academy of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education, and has taught in the United States and Central America as a Professor of Acting, Directing, Cultural Diversity in Performance, as well as Theatre and English as a Second Language. In addition to her work as an educator and scholar, Tiffany is also an emerging producer, director and performer for both stage and screen. Her work directing children’s theatre has appeared in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and she continues to coach professional actors privately and on-set for Fox, BET, CBS, Nickelodeon, Disney, Warner Bros., Netflix, and numerous feature films. Most recently, she completed her MFA in Film and Television Production along with a Graduate Certificate in Business of Entertainment at USC School of Cinematic Arts. She is currently working as an actor, writer/director, and producer in Los Angeles.
