Chase Winton is an actress, writer and Groundling. She has directed, taught Improv and sketch writing at the Groundlings Theater for the past 25 years. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and modern dancer in New York in the 1980's , she studied with Twyla Tharp and Merce Cunningham and performing with the dance companies of Kenneth Rinker and Charles Moulton. Chase ditched dance for comedy and improv with the Frontline , and Artificial Intelligence with whom she performed in the original cast of Tony n' Tina's Wedding. She has appeared in film and television ( Ms Cleveland in The Bad News Bears, and Two Broke Girls-- to name a few....) She has performed in written-word essay shows around Los Angeles like Sit and Spin, Not What I Signed Up For and the Rant and Rave series by Rogue Machine theater.
