Lori Webster Fore, MFA

From humble beginnings in rural Eastern North Carolina to a career that has spanned five continents, Lori Webster Fore has for over a decade created high impact content for television, leading tech companies, brands, universities, and nonprofits. Her independent documentary and fiction films have screened at festivals and gained distribution both domestically and abroad. Lori is an SFFILM Kenneth Ranin grant co-recipient, Guy Hanks & Marvin Miller Screenwriting fellow, and AFI Directing Workshop for Women semifinalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies & Production and African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. Currently, Lori is Executive Creative Director at Hush Harbor Media and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at USC School of Cinematic Arts.

Lori’s passion for filmmaking centers on hidden gem stories in the black experience. A believer in the power of media for social change, Lori is committed to crafting impactful stories that promote deeper appreciation for unique perspectives.
