With over 25 years of production experience, Gary Wagner’s background includes film, video, and HD work in both live action and visual effects. As a Director of Photography and a Lighting Director, his work has encompassed hundreds of commercials, as well as feature films, narrative shorts, music videos, and assorted television and documentary projects. Many of the commercials have won Addy Awards, and several of the narrative shorts have won festival awards. He has also directed several award winning corporate projects, and an award winning PSA for United Way. He has been a member of the International Cinematographers Guild since 1992, as a Director of Photography.

As a senior producer and cinematographer for Company West Pictures, Gary produced and photographed assorted commercials, music videos, and television projects. Featured amongst those projects was a comedy series pilot, Bulls & Bears, which was optioned by Paramount Pictures, and “Look in My Heart”, a music video album featuring Alyssa Milano.

Gary received both a B.F.A. in Photography, and a M.F.A. in Film Production from Ohio University before attending the American Film Institute’s Center for Advanced Film Studies as a Cinematography Fellow.
