Vince Gonzales supplies cinematic arts students with film stock and production supplies and is the USC liaison for Fotokem, a full service motion picture post production facility. A self-taught photographer, Gonzales has worked in landscapes and portraits since the early 1990s. His photographs have appeared in Variety, the Hollywood Reporter, the Los Angeles Times, Millimeter, Hollywood Independent, and Emmy Magazine. His works have been exhibited at the Klasky Csupo Studio Gallery in Hollywood (2003), the ArcLight Hollywood (2003), the Forest Lawn Museum in Glendale (2004), and the Hollywood Entertainment Museum (2005).
Gonzales' aesthetic interest in filmmaking technology has taken him to fascinating locations in and around Los Angeles. His latest exhibition, Tech Art, which completed a display at the Linwood Dunn Theater at the Academy's Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study in Hollywood is being taken by A.M.P.A.S.’ Science and Technology Council to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Museum in Washington, D.C. at the end of September.
