Jonathan L. Dudkowski

Adjunct Associate Professor

Affiliated Divisions:

Division of Film & Television Production

Jon Dudkowski grew up in San Rafael near the offices of ILM and Lucas Film. Those two institutions inspired an early love of visual spectacle in him. He graduated from USC's film school with a degree in Critical Studies and a passion for editing. After paying his dues as a PA, his first union job was as an assistant editor on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Some of his editing credits include: FRINGE for FOX, White Collar for USA, The Man in the High Castle for Amazon, Roadies for Showtime, The Path for Hulu and Star Trek Discovery for CBS ALL ACCESS. When he isn't editing scripted TV, he works on indie films, commercials and film trailers. He is an adjunct professor of editing at USC and is a member of the American Cinema Editors. Jon is happy that editing's blend of creativity, collaboration and technological innovation have allowed him to work with many of his film making heros like JJ Abrams, Cameron Crowe, Joe & Anthony Russo and Joss Whedon.
