This fall, grab your lightsaber and blue milk, and join us for a survey of the history of Star Wars from upstart 70s independent production to world-straddling modern IP colossus under the Disney umbrella. Professor J.D. Connor will discuss the franchise's monumental impact on filmmaking, merchandising, and storytelling across four-plus decades of adventures in a galaxy far, far away. Guests from LucasFilm will visit to provide unique perspectives on the highs and lows of one of the most spectacular underdog stories in all of Hollywood history.
