As the first filmmaker to bring Dune to the big screen, and the co-creator of one of the most influential TV shows of all time, David Lynch's impact on art and culture cannot be understated. Join Professor Akira Lippit Wednesday nights this fall to as he walks students through five decades of film, television, painting, photography, music, music videos, commercials, cartoons, and weather reports from one of the most singular artists of all time. CTCS 469 will screen Lynch's most celebrated (and strange) works, with frequent visits from his collaborators.
