New Class! CNTV 599 The Art of Hustling: Ventures in Media, Digital Enterprises, and Beyond

Taught by DIEGO BERDAKIN, an LA-based internet entrepreneur and investor, dedicated to civic advancement. Diego founded the social commerce company BeachMint, later acquired by Conde Nast to form The Lucky Group. He has co-founded various companies including FabFitFun, Re/Done, and iEscrow and has spearheaded standalone companies for Myspace, Fox, and The Wall Street Journal while serving as Executive Vice President at Slingshot Labs.
This media and entrepreneurship master class hosts some of the greatest entrepreneurs of our generation. Regular course speakers have included Jeffrey Katzenberg (Dreamworks), Evan Spiegel (Snapchat), Sophia Amoruso (NastyGal), Travis Kalanick (Uber), and Jamie Siminoff (Ring.com).
Students will focus on identifying a media or content idea with impact, and develop the viability and full potential of that idea through the creation of a business plan for deployment. This class will leave you with a deep understanding of what it takes to make it in today’s hyper-competitive and ever-changing landscape.
All majors are welcome. Undergraduates are welcome to enroll with clearance from their advisor.
