ALL STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE:
  • Cell Phone
    • A U.S cell phone and charger with a U.S. phone number
    • International students can buy a prepaid U.S. sim card on sites like Amazon, campusSIMS or from a phone service provider. Please purchase and activate the sim card before your arrival in the U.S.
  • Laptop
    • Minimum Specs for existing laptop:
      • Must be less than 4 years old.
    • Processor:

    • Memory:
      • PC: 16GB
      • Mac: 32GB
    • Storage:
      • 512GB SS
  • Screenwriting Software
    (Please choose one of the four recommended software options.)
    Animation/Storyboarding Students ONLY

    Students enrolled in any Animation/Storyboarding class(es) must provide the following equipment for use in the Animation Lab:
    Can be purchased from the USC Bookstore or from Amazon.

    Production Students ONLY

    The SCA Summer Program will provide:

    • Sony FX-30 Cameras and tripods
    • Access to Lighting Kits and Sound Kits
    • Limited Grip/Electric equipment for the crew project
    • Access to Editing Stations

    Production Students must provide:

      • Required to store and edit your projects. To ensure compatibility, purchase from the list below which are SCA approved and tested.
