SCA Summer Program Classes

The 2027 USC SCA Summer Program runs from Friday, June 25 - Friday, August 6, 2027.
Applications to the 2027 SCA Summer Program open on December 1, 2026
Applications for International students close on March 15, 2027.
Applications for U.S. citizens, Green Card Holders, and current F-1 Visa holders close on April 15, 2027.

Important Notice:

  • SCA Summer Program courses are designated as either 4 units or 8 units
  • Students can enroll in a minimum of 4 units and up to a maximum of 12 units.
  • Students cannot enroll in more than one Production Course.
  • Students cannot enroll in an 8-unit Production class -- such as Warner Bros., Filmmaking Intensive, or Directing Intensive -- along with Writing the First Draft Feature Screenplay or Writing the TV Series Pilot.
  • Auditing courses is not permitted in the SCA Summer Program.
  • Current USC students, as well as individuals who have been dismissed from USC, are not eligible to participate in the SCA Summer Program.
