First Look

First Look 2.0 takes place March 28 - 30, 2008.

For over a decade, the Student Industry Relations office has organized this unique festival of over 40 films.

With six programs and receptions over three days, the school's premiere film festival
has been transformed for 2008
into First Look 2.0.

For the first time, a faculty jury will present an Artistic Award at each program, and a selected professional jury will choose the top films to be screened at a final awards ceremony at the Directors Guild of America (DGA) for an "invite only" event on April 2.

Members of the USC community and public at large will also have the chance to see the latest projects coming from the John C. Hench Division of Animation & Digital Arts on April 3 at the DGA, where 19 student and alumni films will screen.

First Look 08 Animation

First Look Animation is set for April 3, 2008.

Submissions for First Look 2.0 are open to USC Cinematic Arts students only. Applications and guidelines are made available after the previous festival and can be found outside the Office of Student-Industry Relations (CTV G-132) and online.
