Celebrate 35 Years of the African American Cinema Society (AACS) at the USC School of Cinematic Arts!


AACS invites you to an evening of honoring its history and long-lasting impact on USC’s filmmaking legacy. The evening will include the official premiere of POISED, the first short film created as an AACS member project, executive produced by Geoffrey Ogunlesi.

AACS was founded by John Singleton and David Watts to uplift Black storytellers, celebrate legacy, and create opportunities for community-building and professional development within the entertainment industry.
