Video Overview
The Entertainment Technology Center at the University of Southern California [ETC-USC] is an Organized Research Unit within the School of Cinematic Arts. Its mission is to study entertainment technology developments that are critical to the creative community; production companies; content owners, distributors and exhibitors; and technology companies.
ETC-USC's executive sponsors include the School of Cinematic Arts; Hollywood's major studios: Sony Pictures Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, and Warner Bros. Entertainment; Lucasfilm Ltd.; Alcatel-Lucent; DTS; and TATA Consultancy Services.
The center is under the direction of entrepreneur, technologist, and Hollywood veteran David Wertheimer.
