Howard Rosenberg is a Pulitzer Prize-winning former TV critic of the Los Angeles Times, where his nationally distributed column appeared for 25 years. Rosenberg also was the recipient of two National Headliner Awards and numerous other honors while at The Times. A recently published anthology of his work, Not So Prime Time: Chasing the Trivial on American Television, received a coveted "Star" review by Publishers Weekly, and Kirkus Reviews said about Rosenberg, "No one has mapped TV's terrain more thoroughly and starkly." Co-written with Charles Feldman, Rosenberg's latest book, No Time to Think, was published in 2008 by Continuum Books, and assesses the impact of new media speed on decision-making. Rosenberg teaches news ethics in the Annenberg School, and also teaches CTCS 402, a practicum on TV criticism, and CTCS 467, a TV symposium.
